Charlie Eitel, Partner

Mr. Eitel served as Chairman and CEO of Simmons Bedding Company from January 2000 until October 2008 and Vice Chairman through December 2009. Simmons Bedding Company is based in Atlanta, GA and employs over 3,000 associates in North America and operates 20 manufacturing plants. Prior to his role at Simmons, Mr. Eitel served as President and COO of Interface, Inc., CEO of Collins & Aikman Floor Covering, President and Chief Operating Officer of Carriage Industries and President of Coronet Carpets (RCA). In 2008 Mr. Eitel was named the winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Consumer Products category for Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

 

Jeff Armstrong, Partner

Mr. Armstrong served as Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, Head of Leveraged Capital and Head of Private Equity Coverage during his tenure at Wachovia Securities (1999-2008.) Mr. Armstrong also served as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney (1993-1999) and Morgan Stanley (1987-1993.) Mr. Armstrong has served as an advisor or lead financier on hundreds of transactions across a number of industries including IPOs, Leveraged Buyouts, Mergers, Sales, Acquisitions and a other strategic transactions. Mr. Armstrong is actively engaged in health and human services work in Charlotte, NC and El Salvador. He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and four children.

 

Katherine Calligan, Senior Associate

Prior to joining Eitel & Armstrong, Ms. Calligan worked as an investment banking Associate at Wells Fargo in the Leveraged Finance group. Ms. Calligan graduated summa cum laude from Belmont Abbey College, where she received a B.A. with majors in accounting and business administration.
